The high yield black cartridge is a great replacement for an original HP cartridge. I priced HP cartridges at a local office supply store and found they wanted $ 67.98 for an HP set of cartridges. The Supricolor replacement set for $19.99 is quite a bargain. The quality of the ink from the Supricolor cartridges is rich, crisp, and true. The print is sharp and is not pale or washed out. The images created are excellent for text, graphics or photos. The print appears to be water resistant and smudge proof. Either way you slice it the Supricolor cartridges are a better deal. These cartridges are easy to install and you don’t have to remove what seems to be numerous layers of wrapping to get down to the cartridge itself. For some cartridges it seems you have to tug, cut, and pry to get the layers of wrapping off before you can install the cartridge. With some brands I have even popped off the print head while trying to unwrap all the layers. No so with Supricolor. They are easy to unwrap and are quickly ready to install. And if you may get a message from the printer that you have tried to install “non-original” cartridges. Just tell the printer to accept the cartridges and continue with the installation. This is just a small hick-up to deal with considering the cost savings when purchasing these cartridges.  The replacement process is a clean experience without the ink mess found with some cartridge replacements. All in all this was a great purchase. I would recommend these Supricolor cartridges for anyone needing a cartridge replacement and not wanting to spend the high dollar costs of original cartridges.
