For some cartridges it seems you have to tug, cut, and pry to get the layers of wrapping off before you can install the cartridge. With some brands I have even popped off the print head while trying to unwrap all the layers. No so with Supricolor. They are easy to unwrap and are quickly ready to install. I wondered about the name but after installing and using these cartridges I was convinced that the name should be super. The set includes two high yield black cartridge as well as 3 standard color cartridges. I priced this set of Cannon cartridges at a local office supply store and found they wanted $ 112.95 for the set or $ 31.99 for the black only and $ 15.99 for each color. Either way you slice it the Supricolor cartridges are a better deal. The quality of the colors from the Supricolor cartridges is rich, crisp, and true. The colors are sharp and are not pale or washed out. The images created are excellent for text, graphics or photos. The print appears to be water resistant and smudge proof. The replacement is clean without the ink mess found with some cartridge replacements. All in all this was a great purchase. I would recommend this brand of cartridges for anyone needing a cartridge replacement and not wanting to spend the high dollar costs of original cartridges.
