It may be light weight in its design but it is a sturdy as any of the metal hand sprayers that I have owned in the past. The metal ones break, rust, bend, and otherwise fail to function properly, but that is not the case of this hose sprayer with a rubberized hand grip. My metal sprayers never had a rubberized grip. And all my metal sprayers never had 8 different spray settings. The metal ones are basically one setting, maybe two if you count on and off as two settings. I always thought that tools had to be made out of metal to be tough. Well after using this garden hose nozzle / hand sprayer I have had to rethink that idea. This is a tough sprayer that as they say, “takes a lickin and keeps on tickin”. I have been through a number of garden hose sprayers from the box stores, but this GreenLeaf Horticulture Garden Hose Nozzle is better built and should last a lot longer. It is rated to 400 pounds of body weight so it can easily support me without worrying about falling through and onto the ground.
