I tried these liquid chalk markers on the white board in my classroom. They sure give a much wider assortment of colors than just the red and black markers that school teachers are normally issued. With these assorted colors it is much easier to highlight a particular part of an illustration, a problem or a math solution with the availability of colors in this liquid chalk marker set.
One word of caution these liquid chalk markers need a non-porous service or they will penetrate into the sub-structure of the board material. If your whiteboard is worn and the surface sheen is gone or reduced be sure to carefully test these markers in a not so visible area of the board.
This liquid chalk marker set would make a great gift for both young and old alike as each of my children as well as the adults were impressed with the selection of colors. This is a great way to entertain old and young alike for those that like to color.
I gave this set to my 5 year old granddaughter and her mother. Both enjoyed using this set of markers and going through all the rainbow of colors to find exactly the right color to use. Each was pleased with the selection of colors, especially the gold and silver. The colors seemed to flow freely so that they could be used not only for coloring but drawing, sketching, crafting, scrapbooking, etc.
My daughter and granddaughter both enjoyed the set of colors and then my wife into the picture. My wife has been looking at all the new adult coloring books in every store. I drop her off with my credit card to run in to a store to get one quick item and she returns with not only that item but also several new adult coloring books. This is obviously a new fad for adults in the US and my wife is now a liquid chalk marker and adult coloring book fanatic. This liquid chalk marker set is getting a real workout between the wife, our daughter, our granddaughter, and my classroom.
