I always hear my name called to retrieve a hot item from the oven or pour boiling water off of a pot of pasta. Retrieving hot items seems to have become one of my jobs. Heavy or hot I get called. With the new AYL Silicone Cooking Gloves one of my regular chores may have come to an end. I noticed after the gloves arrived she now seems to have more initiative when it comes to getting hot dishes out of the oven. We have taken things from the oven at upwards of 400 degrees without a burn or problem. When the gloves are dirty it’s nice to be able just to rinse off the outside and keep on going. The gloves are durable and not so stiff that you have a hard time holding on to something. I like the cotton lining as it makes them feel softer and more comfortable to wear than many gloves without a lining. You probably do not have these glove on for more than a few seconds or even a few minutes at the most while you get something from the oven and probably go to set it on the stove. The gloves have a textured surface to give you better grip when picking up an object that might be slick.
